About Coach

I grew up a swimmer and taught swim lessons or coached a swim team for over 20 years. I am married to three super fun, busy girls. I enjoy competing in local CrossFit competitions and racing in open water swims. My life is full of organized chaos so living a healthy life is very important. I eat well, move often, and enjoy the "small things" in life.

Turning Point

When I finished my swimming career, I was looking for something to fill the void of competing. I had tried running, raced triathlons, attempted yoga, and even tried Zumba classes but didn't love any of them. In November 2010, I went to a local CrossFit competition to support my husband without really knowing what it was. Once I got there, I fell in love with the sport and signed up for classes immediately. I have loved CrossFit ever since then.

Motivation & Passion

I love coaching people and watching them improve, and reaching PRs they never thought they could reach. Everyone leads such busy lives with work, school, and families, I try to make this hour all about them. We need to take care of ourselves in order to be the best version of ourselves.
